On September 4, Farhan Akhtar took to Instagram to announce that he will portray Major Shaitan Singh PVC in his upcoming film titled 120 Bahadur.Along with the announcement, he shared the film’s first look. The movie will revisit the Battle of Rezang La, which took place on November 18, 1962, during the Indo-China war.

Sharing the poster, Farhan wrote, “Wo teen hazaar the… Aur hum?” read the text on the poster. Sharing the poster, Farhan wrote, “What they accomplished will never be forgotten. It is an absolute privilege to bring you the story of Maj Shaitan Singh PVC and the soldiers of Charlie company, 13 Kumaon regiment.”

Following the announcement, ‘Don 3’ star Ranveer Singh shared his warm wishes by dropping a series of emojis, including an oncoming fist, trident emblem, red heart, nazar amulet, and fire. Farhan’s wife, Shibani Akhtar, also showed her support by posting fire emojis and writing, “Cannot wait for this one

For the unversed, the battle, led by Major Shaitan Singh, who will be portrayed by Farhan Akhtar in 120 Bahadur, tells the story of 120 Indian soldiers from Charlie Company 13 Kumaon who faced nearly 5,000 Chinese soldiers.
