Farhan Akhtar has announced his next film, ‘120 Bahadur‘, marking his return to acting. ETimes was the first to reveal that Farhan’s next is to be directed by Razneesh Ghai, based on the battle of Rezang La (Ladakh area) which was fought during the Indo-China War of 1962.
On September 4, Farhan Akhtar took to Instagram to announce that he will portray Major Shaitan Singh PVC in his upcoming film titled 120 Bahadur.Along with the announcement, he shared the film’s first look. The movie will revisit the Battle of Rezang La, which took place on November 18, 1962, during the Indo-China war.

For the unversed, the battle, led by Major Shaitan Singh, who will be portrayed by Farhan Akhtar in 120 Bahadur, tells the story of 120 Indian soldiers from Charlie Company 13 Kumaon who faced nearly 5,000 Chinese soldiers.
