Kanwar Dhillon thanked the audience for their love and support as Udne Ki Aasha secured the highest TRP in its latest rating.
Popular TV star Kanwar Dhillon is winning hearts with his portrayal of Sachin in the TV show Udne Ki Aasha. In an unfortunate accident, the actor suffered an injury a few days back after a rickshaw rammed into him. He was on his way to the sets of his show when the incident took place. Now, he has shared a post on Instagram updating his fans about his injury. Further expressing gratitude, Kanwar thanked the audience for their love and support as Udne Ki Aasha secured the highest TRP.
The video shared by Kanwar Dhillon captured the actor showcasing his injury marks. It was accompanied by an elaborate note wherein he reflected on the plans to shoot an action sequence in the next two days. The actor wrote, “Hello!! So, a speeding rickshaw from the opposite direction rammed into me from the side while riding to work this morning! Right from the time the media on our sets let the news out, I have been flooded with messages everywhere. I’m Okay guys! Injections/medicines taken & I have been shooting, work hasn’t stopped one bit. Thank you for the love, concern & wishes. Parson action sequence bhi shoot karna hai, wish me luck (sic).”
In the same post, Kanwar Dhillon reacted to the love pouring in for his show. He added, “Udne Ki Aasha hit 2.0 TRP today, a reason to motivate myself in spite of being in pain. Keep the love coming, let’s keep flying higher.”
As for the popular TV show Udne Ki Aasha, the drama series explores the lives of Sachin and Sailee as they navigate through their complex relationship and equation. Kanwar Dhillon plays the character of Sachin, a taxi driver whose livelihood is heavily impacted by his profession. The female lead is played by Neha Harsora. Neha essays the role of Sailee in the show. Sailee is a florist who keeps engaging in different small businesses to live life.
The show has been performing well ever since the beginning. Now, it has surpassed the TRP ratings of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Kundali Bhagya and Laughter Chefs among other popular shows. As per the latest BARC TRP ratings, Udne Ki Aasha has secured the fourth position with a TVR of 2, leaving behind Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin that has been topping the TRP charts for a while now.
