Varun Dhawan was directed to steer clear of other projects and advertisements after beginning work on ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny‘. Samantha Ruth Prabhu and directors Raj & DK imposed this condition before he was officially signed to ensure that his appearance for the series remained confidential.
Reported in News18, Varun said that when someone works with directors like Raj & DK, they are very concerned ‘Ye koi dusra kaam toh nahi kar raha hai? Is he starting a new film? Is he shooting an ad? They were very concerned.Before I was on board, I was given a strict instruction that ‘If you are doing this, you cannot do another during this, shoot no ads. This is your look, you can only be in this.’ Dhawan revealed that he enjoyed it more because he got to be in this character for a much longer period of time.
