Ananya Panday‘s debut web series, ‘Call Me Bae‘ is set to stream in September and the makers have recently dropped the trailer. The trailer is receiving much love from her fans and also the audience are drawing all sorts of comparisons, including ‘Emily In Paris’. But what really captured Ananya Panday’s attention was a fan calling her the daughter of fictional characters Poo and Rohanm, played by Kareena Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan from ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’.She was over the moon to receive the compliment. Anany Panday stated that she could have only dreamt of this!
Ananya Panday reshared the video and said, “Omg!!!!! little Ananya could only ever dream of this!!!!” She also shared a similar video mashup and wrote, “Bebo/ Poo is the GOAT.”
Meanwhile, Ananya Panday is overwhelmed with the response the trailer is receiving. She shared a video recently and captioned, “Trying to perfect the “chick-flick scream” for #CallMeBae, but honestly I’m screaming with joy at all the love we’ve gotten on the trailer – grateful beyonddddd.”

‘Call Me Bae’ is created by Ishita Moitra and directed by Collin D’Cunha. Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar, and Rohit Nair have written the show. Starring Ananya Panday, the upcoming web series has actors Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur. The series is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 6, 2024.
