Invention
Dr APJ Abdul Kalam was associated with the Indian Space Research Organization in the year 1962. Abdul Kalam is credited with making India’s first indigenous satellite (SLV III) missile. It was the Director General of the project at that time, due to the contribution of Kalam ji, India became a member of the International Space Club.
He is credited with doing the ISRO launch vehicle program, he designed the indigenously designed guided missiles, he developed indigenous technology to manufacture Agni and Prithvi missiles. They used strategic missile systems as firearms. He was also the Chief Scientific Adviser to the Government of India. He made India’s nuclear program successful, he recognized India as a nuclear-rich nation by conducting nuclear tests in Pokhran. He conducted the second successful nuclear test in Pokhran in the year 1998.

Dr. A. P.J. When Abdul Kalam was young, he was having a meal with his parents one day, while eating he saw his father’s plate, there were some burnt rotis in it, which his father was eating peacefully, his Mother apologized to her father for the burnt rotis, then he laughed and said, “No problem, I like burnt rotis”.
Kalam ji was surprised to hear this, after some time he asked his father, does he really like burnt rotis? So his father replied, “A burnt roti cannot harm anyone, but burnt words can spoil a lot”.
