Earlier this year, a source close to the couple revealed to Hindustan Times that after working together on the film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, Shraddha and Rahul grew close and have been dating for a while. The source mentioned that the two are in a comfortable place in their relationship, which is why they don’t feel the need to hide it. However, despite being spotted together more often, the source added that they are both private people and are not planning to make their relationship official anytime soon.
On the work front, Shraddha has been basking in the success of her recently released film Stree 2, also starring Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurrana, Abhishek Banerjee and Pankaj Tripathi. The Amar Kaushik directorial also features Varun Dhawan, Akshay Kumar and Tamannaah Bhatia in special cameos.
