Yes, you read it right! During his conversation with ABP Majha Aamir Khan revealed that he had been eager to take on a role in ‘Laapataa Ladies’ because of the compelling story and an interesting character he was drawn to.
The actor noted that he had suggested the film to Kiran Rao, thinking she might like it. However, Kiran expressed concerns, telling him that as a big star, his presence might overshadow the small-scale film. Despite this, Aamir insisted on giving a screen test to see if he would fit the role.
