After winning the audience’s hearts in the BB 17 house, the Udaariyaan actor will now be seen in the new season of ace filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi.
TV actor Abhishek Kumar rose to fame after his stint in Salman Khan’s TV reality show Bigg Boss (BB) 17. His trajectory on the show made him one of the most favourite contestants of the season and he also emerged as the first Runner-up. After winning the audience’s hearts in the BB 17 house, the Udaariyaan actor will now be seen in the new season of ace filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi.
The makers of Khatron Ke Khiladi will begin the shoot for the new season soon. Before embarking on the thrilling journey, Abhishek on Tuesday, sought the blessings of Lord Ganesha for the new beginnings at Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai. Several pictures and videos of Abhishek coming out of the temple premises are currently being circulated on social media.
In the clips, the actor is seen greeting the paps stationed outside the temple with folded hands and a heart full of gratitude. He also chanted ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’ in front of the shutterbugs. Abhishek wore a red t-shirt paired with black pants and a pink shawl around his neck.
However, earlier during his journey in the BB 17 house, director Rohit Shetty gave an opportunity to Abhishek to participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, but he rejected it. Speaking about his decision, the actor revealed that he declined the offer due to claustrophobia and an injury in his right hand.
Abhishek in a recent conversation shared that he gave his decision a second thought and talked to actors Ravi Dubey, Ankit Gupta and Karan Wahi about their experience on the adventure show, as per Pinkvilla.
“I want to overcome my phobia and Karan Wahi had told me once that earlier he was scared of dogs but now he has two pet dogs at his home. So, if a person can change so much then why not,” said Abhishek, Pinkvilla quoted.
Other celebs who have confirmed their participation in Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 are Asim Riaz, Krishna Shroff, Shilpa Shinde, Shalin Bhanot, Sumona Chakravarti, Samarth Jurel, Gashmeer Mahajani, Niyati Fatnani, Karan Veer Mehra and Aditi Sharma among other.
The show will reportedly go on air in July. Rapper Dino James won the 13 season of Khatron Ke Khiladi.
