Rooh Baba is back… but so is Manjulika, but there’s a twist in the story!
The highly anticipated trailer for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3‘ has finally released, much to the excitement of ardent fans. This latest installment of the popular horror-comedy franchise promises to deliver a unique blend of thrills, chills, laughter and romance, just in time for the festive Diwali season.
The trailer was unveiled at the iconic Raj Mandir Cinema in Jaipur with the leading stars Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan and Triptii Dimri in attendance. Ahead of the grand launch event, director Anees Bazmee expressed his excitement about the project, stating, “‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ is a project very close to my heart. We have pushed the boundaries of the horror-comedy genre to bring something fresh and entertaining”.
The trailer for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3′ has clarified now Madhuri Dixit’s role, revealing that she will portray the terrifying character of Manjulika. This marks a significant moment as she joins Vidya Balan, who reprises her iconic role as Manjulika after 17 years, enhancing the film’s horror narrative.

Bazmee also praised his cast and crew, emphasizing their contributions to the film’s success, “Working with such a talented cast and the entire team from crew members to technicians has been an absolute pleasure, and I’m confident the audience will enjoy the journey we’ve crafted for them.”
The ensemble cast includes Kartik as Rooh Baba, Vidya reprising her iconic role as Manjulika, along with Triptii and the supporting cast comprising of Rajpal Yadav, and Rajesh Sharma.
The teaser for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ had already generated significant excitement on social media prior to the trailer release. It showcased a thrilling glimpse into the film’s storyline, with visuals of Balan’s Manjulika recreating her iconic scenes as a vengeful spirit. The teaser also introduced Triptii as Kartik’s love interest.
The film serves as the third instalment in the beloved franchise that began with ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ in 2007 and continued with ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ in 2022.
