After the super success of his last film, ‘Gadar: The Katha Continues’, director Anil Sharma is all set with his new project. The filmmaker will reportedly announce the same on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra on October 12.
Anil teased his social media followers about his next project on Instagram on Friday. The director dropped a video on Instagram where he can be seen doing puja at home and a havan kund being lit up with fire.

The filmmaker revealed that he will announce the news of his next project at 11:00 AM tomorrow.He wrote, “Kal milte hain Dussehra ke din 11 baje ek exciting news ke sath….(Let’s meet on Dussehra at 11 am with an exciting news).” The filmmaker tagged Rajpal Yadav and Nana Patekar in his post, along with the hashtag #VANVAAS. He also tagged ‘Gadar 2’ actors Utkarsh Sharma and Simrat Kaur.
Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol played the key parts in ‘Gadar 2: The Katha Continues’. Simrat Kaur and Utkarsh Sharma were also featured in the 2023 movie. Utkarsh was cast as Taranjeet Singh, also known as Jeete, the on-screen son of Sunny and Ameesha, who played Tara Singh and Sakeena Ali, respectively, their original characters. Muskaan, played by Simrat, is the love interest of Jeete.
Apart from ‘Gadar’, Anil Sharma has also directed movies like Suhaag, Hukumat, Farishtay, Tahalka, The Hero: Love Story of a Spy, Singh Saab The Great, Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo, Apne, Veer and others.
