This season, with a nostalgic touch to an unforgettable moment in the world of fashion, Gigi Hadid brought personal charm to the grand return of Victoria’s Secret fashion show. As she prepared for the live-streamed runway, she became news, not only because her looks, but also heartfelt words about her relationship with Bradley Cooper.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Gigi said that Cooper would be actually watching from home instead of sitting at the front row.
“He’s watching from home tonight,” she explained, noting that family was foremost in their minds as Cooper was on “dad duty” for their daughter. “He is so supportive,” she added, emphasizing the balancing of their busy lifestyles.
This was a really sweet moment, given that Cooper shares with his ex, Irina Shayk, a daughter, Lea, who is seven years old, and Irina too walked the runway that night. Shayk was back after a long time , it marked her first appearance since 2016. Interestingly, this marked some sort of full circle for Shayk because it technically marked Lea’s first fashion show-she was pregnant with her during her last walk.
Shayk laughed about being asked what her daughter thinks of her career as a model. She said, ”I don’t know, you should probably one day ask her.” She recalled the last experience: “The last time I walked a Victoria’s Secret Show, I was four or five months pregnant, so here we go. I’m back. My daughter probably will be watching it later.”
Shayk and Cooper began dating in early 2015, shortly after the couple emerged from highly publicized splits. The actress gave birth to their daughter in March 2017; Gigi and Cooper’s romance timeline is not really clear, but the couple was first seen out on a date night in October 2023. According to reports, the couple has connected most on raising young girls as both of them are co parenting their daughters with their respective former partners.
Gigi and Irina camaraderie paired with dedication to their daughters made this event an event celebrating career as well as motherhood, reminding us that the simplest joys found in and out of glitz are here.
