Business tycoon Adar Poonawalla has acquired a 50% stake in Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Dharmatic Entertainment. According to a press release from Dharma Productions, the Rs 1,000 crore deal was finalized through Poonawalla’s Serene Entertainment.
Now, actor Jaaved Jaaferi has reacted to the news of Adar Poonawalla, CEO of Serum Institute of India, acquiring a stake in Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The ‘Dhamaal’ actor took to X (formerly Twitter) to playfully tease Karan about the significant business deal.
Jaaved humorously reacted to the business deal by reposting the news and mockingly announcing Karan Johar’s ‘next film.’ He wrote, “Next film: Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Serum,” leaving fans in stitches.Many joined in on the fun, suggesting their own creative titles. One fan commented, “Vaccine ke baad se Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,” while another joked, “Covi Khushi ., Covi Gham.”
