During a recent nomination task, when Bigg Boss called Shrutika Arjun to nominate a contestant, she chose Avinash Mishra and outlined her reasons.
In the initial days of Bigg Boss 18, contestants appeared relaxed, but as the second week rolled in, tensions began to rise and heated arguments were reported. Now, some housemates are struggling to maintain their composure. The latest drama centers around Avinash Mishra, who previously made headlines for refusing to share essential rations. During a recent nomination task, Bigg Boss summoned all contestants to the activity area and empowered Shrutika Arjun to nominate someone for eviction. When she chose Avinash and explained her reasons, he reacted aggressively, threatening her in the process. The situation escalated further when Shrutika sarcastically complimented his acting skills, while Avinash shot back by claiming that he could evict her from the house right away.
When BB gave nomination power to Shrutika, she declared, “I nominate Avinash. Dusron ko nicha dikhana, is a very very bad approach.” While Ye Teri Galiyaan star said, “Darr mein rehna woh tumhare liye acha hoga. (Staying in fear will be good for you).”
Later, when Shrutika Arjun called him an “amazing actor” in sarcasm, Avinash Mishra responded to her saying, “Tu toh woh bhi nahi hai, toh aayi kyun hai yahan pe. Gate kholke beech se nikalke bahar kar dunga, I challenge you, bro. (You’re not even that, so why have you come here? I’ll open the gate and throw you out right in the middle, I challenge you, bro).”
While providing her reasoning, it seemed that Shrutika Arjun referenced Avinash Mishra’s earlier argument with housemates over his refusal to share food. Although Avinash has formed genuine connections with Eisha Singh and Alice Kaushik, his relationships with other contestants, such as Karan Veer Mehra, Arfeen Khan and Shilpa Shirodkar, remain strained. Avinash even had a heated exchange with Karan Veer during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, despite the presence of celebrity guests like Krushna Abhishek, Sudesh Lehri, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain in the Bigg Boss 18 house.
Due to his aggressive behaviour, Avinash was temporarily evicted from the show for a few hours but was later brought back at the request of several contestants.
In addition to Avinash Mishra, Shrutika Arjun, Karan Veer Mehra, Arfeen Khan, Shilpa Shirodkar, Eisha Singh, and Alice Kaushik, Bigg Boss 18, hosted by Salman Khan, also features contestants Rajat Dalal, Muskan Bamne, Tajinder Bagga, Vivian Dsena, Chaahat Pandey, Chum Darang, Shehzada Dhami, Sara Khan and Nyra Banerjee.
