Mumbai court has reportedly revealed that men who fired shots at Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments at Bandra on April 14, 2023, were, without a doubt, trying to murder the actor.
As reported by PTI, according to the court, the attack by a gang member identified as Anmol Bishnoi-the brother of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi-was indeed a component of a plot against the Bollywood superstar.
In a setback for the two shooters arrested recently in connection with the firing incident by one of the accused, Vicky Gupta, who was joined by another accused, Sagar Pal, the court refused to grant him bail.
The special judge, B.D. Shelke, said that the nature of the crime came within the purview of the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA). His bail was rejected on October 18. Both were apprehended earlier this year in Gujarat in connection with the case.
From court records, it is testified that through a call transcript between Gupta and Anmol Bishnoi, it is revealed that the attack was carried out according to directions from Anmol.
In such a way, the transcript clearly reflected that it is Gupta and his accomplice whom Bishnoi instigated for attacking Salman Khan.
Reportedly, it was mentioned in the FIR and the court order that the shots were fired at Salman Khan’s first-floor gallery, where people often look to catch a glimpse of him. The court further stated the firing was done deliberately at that spot where he would often appear.
The actor had earlier blamed the Lawrence Bishnoi gang for this attack. The group, which has been associated with many high-profile crimes, continues to be under the scanner of the police, and Lawrence Bishnoi was wanted in this case too as an accused.
