Munmun Dutta revealed that she admires the lead actors of the Korean show Guardian: The Lonely and Great God.
TV actress Munmun Dutta, known for playing the role of Babita Ji in the popular comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, is a big fan of Korean dramas. The 36-year-old actress, recently, revealed that she admires the lead actors of the popular fantasy rom-com Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, popularly known as Goblin. On Instagram Stories, Munmun shared a screengrab of the actors, Gong Yoo and Lee-Dong Wook, and wrote, “Both my crush in the same frame (heart eyes and red heart emoticons).”
The series has achieved cult classic status among K-drama fans. It’s an epic love story between a Goblin and a woman who overcome every obstacle to be together.
A few months back, several reports claimed that Munmun Dutta got engaged to her TMKOC co-star Raj Anadkat in the presence of their families. The news spread like wildfire with fans of both the celebs congratulating them on the union. Well, Munmun finally broke her silence on the matter.
Refuting the engagement rumours, Munmum Dutta had issued a statement. It read, “This news is ridiculous, fake and ludicrous. Zero ounce of truth in it. And frankly, I don’t want to give my energy to this fake thing that keeps coming up again and again.”
Raj Anadkat, on the other hand, also denied the rumours on Instagram Stories. He said, “Hello everyone. Just to clear things up, the news you’ve been seeing on social media is false & baseless.”
Munmun Dutta has been associated with Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah ever since the show’s beginning in 2008. Whereas, Raj Anadkat joined the cast of TMKOC in 2017, and exited in 2022 to “explore different characters.”
Munmun Dutta’s on-screen chemistry with Jethalal aka Dilip Joshi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is much-loved by fans. She made her acting debut with the popular TV show Sab Baraati in 2004 at the age of 17.
