Sargun Mehta and Ravi Dubey’s upcoming show Badall Pe Paon Hai will air on June 10. It will star Amandeep Sidhu and Aakash Ahuja in lead roles. The makers have already released a few promos and viewers can’t wait for the show to begin. Recently, Aakash Ahuja expressed his enthusiasm about being part of the new series.
In a candid chat with ETimes, Aakash spoke about his character Rajat Khanna. He said, “I am very excited to be a part of the Badall Pe Paon Hai. The concept of the show is inspiring as Baani, who belongs to a small town, remains determined to pursue her dreams against all odds. It’s a powerful message that ambition knows no boundaries, and everyone deserves the chance to chase their dreams. Playing Rajat feels like second nature to me. I see a lot of myself in Rajat, as he is just a simple guy. I can’t wait for viewers to finally watch our show and explore the world of Badall Pe Paon Hai.”
Previously, Amandeep Sidhu spoke about her character in an interview with India Forums. She said, “Baani is very special, as I’ve never portrayed such a role before. She’s a modern thinker with big dreams. Being a Sardarni, I find this show a bonus as it is a Punjab-based show. I fell in love with the character right from the start because Baani is completely me.”
Badall Pe Paon Hai is going to feature Aakash Ahuja as Rajat Khanna, a humble and down-to-earth person. He is satisfied with the simple things in life. He runs a small business and his main goal is to keep his close ones happy. Meanwhile, Amandeep Sidhu is going to play the female lead Baani, a Punjabi girl. She is ambitious and determined to improve her family’s life despite their financial conditions.
On April 10, Ravi Dubey shared the first promo of the show. The clip introduces a hard-working Punjabi girl doing multiple jobs to earn money and help her family financially. However, while she works hard to meet the smallest needs including pending medical bills for her family, she discovers a high-profile and busy stock market agency. “Our next representation,” Ravi captioned the post.
Aakash Ahuja has been featured in several TV shows including Qubool Hai, O Gujariya: Badlein Chal Duniya, Box Cricket League, and TV Ke Uss Paar. However, he is best known for his performance as Viren Narang in the film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas and Purab Singhania in Thapki Pyar Ki 2. He was last seen in the TV show Faltu.
For those unaware, Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta produced Udaariyaan as their first project under their banner, Dreamiyata. Later, they produced Junooniyatt.
