Aamir Khan got married to Reena Dutta at a very early age when he was just beginning his career, in 1986. The actor had two children with her – Junaid and Ira Khan. However, they parted ways in 2002. Later, in 2005, Khan married Kiran Rao. The duo announced their divorce recently in 2022. Aamir continues to remain very close friends with both his ex wives.He was also the producer on Kiran’s latest directorial ‘Laapataa Ladies’, so they are also very collaborative professionally.
In a recent interview, Aamir has revealed if he will re-marry. The actor also spoke about needing a partner. During a chat with Rhea Chakraborty, the actress asked him if she should get married. Reacting to it, Aamir joked, “I have had two unsuccessful marriages, so don’t ask for marriage advice from me.” He further opined, “I don’t like living alone, I need a partner. I am not a loner, I like companionship. I am very close to both my ex-wives Reena and Kiran, we are like one family. Life is unpredictable, so how can we trust it? So marriages working depends from person to person.”
When asked if he would marry for the third time, the actor said, “I am 59 now, where will I get married again? No. I don’t think so. Mushkil lag raha hai (looks difficult). I have so many relationships in my life right now, I have reconnected with my family, my kids, etc. I am very happy just being with people who are close to me. I am working towards being a better person.”
On work front, Aamir was seen in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ last. He will be seen next in ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’.
