He strongly recommends therapy for anyone who feels the need for it, explaining that it has been very helpful for him. Aamir also revealed that he and Ira have begun attending joint therapy sessions to improve their relationship and address long-standing issues.Ira Khan emphasized the importance of working on one’s relationship with parents, highlighting that it is a crucial aspect of emotional well-being.
In the same discussion, the superstar also spoke passionately about the effectiveness of therapy. He acknowledged that even though he considers himself intelligent and capable of solving problems, therapy has been instrumental in helping him understand his mind better. Aamir stressed that intelligence or life experience alone can’t replace the guidance of a trained therapist, as they can provide crucial insights. He also pointed out that in India, there is often a stigma around therapy, with people associating it with mental illness. However, he encouraged others to seek help without hesitation, sharing how therapy has greatly benefited him.
