Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan’s brother, Faisal Khan, was recently spotted by a paparazzo in the city, buying vegetables from a street hawker. In a cheerful mood, Faisal asked the vendor to pack his vegetables quickly, mentioning he had to head home and cook for himself. Dressed casually in a blue shirt and jeans, Faisal interacted happily with the paparazzo while making his purchase, showcasing his down-to-earth personality. His humble demeanor and hands-on approach to daily chores left a refreshing impression, revealing a side of him that is far removed from the glitz and glamour of Bollywood.
When the paparazzo remarked that it was the first time he had seen a celebrity buying vegetables from a street hawker, Faisal Khan responded by saying he handles everything on his own. “Main apna kaam sab khud karta hu, khud driving bhi karta hu, har cheez khud karta hu, zindagi khud sambhalta hu.” (I do all my work myself, I even drive myself, take care of everything by myself, and manage my life on my own) he shared, reflecting his humble, self-sufficient approach to life.
Who is Faisal Khan?
Faisal Khan had a brief but varied career in Bollywood. He began at age three in his uncle Nasir Hussain’s 1969 film Pyar Ka Mausam, portraying a young Shashi Kapoor. His adult debut came in 1988 with Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, where he played a minor role as the villain. He later worked as an assistant director on his father’s 1990 film Tum Mere Ho and starred as the lead in Madhosh (1994), but the film’s failure led him to take a five-year break. Faisal made a brief comeback in 2000 with Mela, which flopped despite praise for his performance.
After TV appearances and another long hiatus, he returned to acting in 2017 with Danger, which remains unreleased. Faisal made his directorial debut in 2021 with Faactory, where he also sang a song, and ventured into Kannada cinema in 2022 with Oppanda.
