Usha took her luggage and joined the others, getting into an elevator where the senior actor was already present. She mentioned that the actor casually asked if they were heading down, to which she cheerfully agreed. However, as soon as the elevator doors closed, the actor behaved inappropriately towards her. Shocked, Usha immediately reacted by slapping him. The elevator then reached the next floor, where actor Sukumari entered.
Sukumari sensed that something was wrong and asked Usha what had happened. Usha, still shaken by the incident, explained everything to Sukumari and mentioned her intention to inform the others. When Lalettan (Mohanlal) later inquired about the situation, Usha recounted the incident to him as well. Both Mohanlal and Sukumari reassured her, stating that she had done the right thing by standing up for herself.
However, this brave act had unintended consequences. Usha revealed that after reporting the incident, the organization labeled her as ‘arrogant’ and accused her of targeting superstars. This negative perception resulted in her losing numerous movie opportunities, significantly impacting her career.
