Thalapathy Vijay is one of the biggest superstars in the country, his last release Leo: Bloody Sweet opened to the biggest day 1 collection in history. The film collected Rs 145 crore across the globe. The actor who is all set to join politics full time soon has decided that he will be doing only two more films and one of them is Venkat Prabhu directed The Goat.The film is slated to release on 5th September this year.
Over the past few years the business of Indian films has spread across the globe and have found themselves their second homes, like for Telugu and Hindi films North America has become the biggest market. Similarly for Tamil films, the United Kingdom is one of their biggest markets especially for Vijay fans. And the advance booking for the film is all set to kickstart 30 days before the release of the film and the distributors are all set to make it one of the widest releases for a Tamil film in the sector. For now they have secured around 25 IMAX screens for the film and as the release date comes near, more and more screens will be added.
The film will see Vijay is a dual role once again, it also features Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Jayaram, Sneha, Laila, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Ajmal Ameer, Manobala, Vaibhav, Premgi, Ajay Raj, and Aravind Akash.
