Amid the ongoing rumours surrounding their ‘on-off relationship’, Arjun recently shared a cryptic post on his Instagram story.The actor quoted Yoda: “Patience, you must have, my young padawan.”
Earlier, Malaika Arora also skipped Arjun’s birthday celebration at his residence last month. This fueled the breakup rumours. Currently, a video is doing the rounds on social media where Arjun Kapoor can be seen making way for Malaika Arora to pass him amid a large crowd.
In the video, Arjun is taking a photo with a fan when Malaika passes by. Malaika did not acknowledge Arjun even though he had put his hand behind her to protect her from the crowd. She didn’t turn around and kept going, so it seemed like the breakup rumors were true.
Earlier, Malaika discussed the toxic nature of the internet. During a conversation with Hello Magazine, she shared, “I have somehow built a mechanism — or shield, I would say — around me where I don’t let the negativity through anymore.”
She further added, “I’ve insulated myself from it. Whether it’s people, a work environment, social media or trolls. The minute I feel that energy, I recoil instantly. It’s something I’ve learned to do over time. It would get to me earlier and I would lose sleep over it. I’d be lying if I said things don’t affect me at all — I’m human too and so I will cry, break down and have all the emotions associated with being trolled. But you’ll never see that in public.”
Malaika and Arjun dated for several years prior to May of this year, when reports of their breakup began to surface. Several reports suggested that Arjun and Malaika split up peacefully. The two haven’t officially responded to these rumors, though. In 2018, Malaika and Arjun began dating, and on his birthday, they announced their relationship on Instagram.
