‘Singham Again’ was released one week ago, and so far, Rohit Shetty’s directorial has done rather well at the box office. The cop drama, which was produced on a large budget, became the highest-grossing film in the ‘Singham’ franchise in just six days. Ajay and Rohit recently talked about the atmosphere on the sets with multiple stars. According to Ajay, Kareena Kapoor Khan often shares gossip about the film industry.
During a conversation with Pinkvilla, Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty were questioned about the atmosphere on the sets. Ajay was quizzed about his off-set interactions with his co-stars. The star talked about his experience working with Kareena Kapoor, pointing out that she is the source of all industry rumors. “It’s just normal, working with colleagues. Ranveer kept you (me) busy all the time by talking rubbish. You learn a lot about the industry from Bebo. She has all the gossips in the world,” Ajay Devgn said.
Rohit Shetty talked about handling six actors on the sets of ‘Singham Again’. He shared, “It’s not really difficult. Everybody comes on set like a technician. They are there for the film. I have never seen ever in so many films that ‘Oh I am the star’. It’s never like this.” He further added, “Everyone just comes to work. A lightman will also work hard and at the same time, a superstar will also work hard when he’s on the set.”.
‘Singham Again’, which starred Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor Khan, made about Rs 250 crore worldwide (Rs 246 crore) in its first week. After its first week, ‘Singham Again’ brought in almost Rs 160 crore at the box office in India.
‘Singham Again’ is the third installment of the ‘Singham’ franchise. Ajay Devgn returned to his role as DCP Bajirao Singham in the recently released police drama. Kareena Kapoor portrayed his abducted wife, Avni Kamat. The cop-drama film also features Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar, and Jackie Shroff. Arjun Kapoor played the role of the main antagonist named Danger Lanka in the film.
