Ajay Devgn began the year with bang, as his first release Shaitaan went on to become extremely successful, but his next two films Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha and Maidaan failed to generate much business. And all eyes were then set on him teaming up with Rohit Shetty once again for Singham Again.

And their collaboration didn’t fail to bring in the audience, be it in India or in North America- the biggest market for Hindi cinema outside of India. In India, the film has already crossed the Rs 150 crore mark in just 4 days, and even in North America ( United States of America and Canada), the film has been holding out strongly. The 4 day total in North America currently stands at US $ 2.51 million ( Rs 21.16 crore) .
The film opened to US $ 615, 707 on Friday, and rose to US $ 869,294 on saturday. The film witnessed a minor drop on Sunday to collect US $ 785,171 and on Monday, the numbers hit US $ 244,402.
Despite being in the business for more than 3 decades now, Ajay Devgn has never been able to make a huge market for himself outside of India. But Singham Again has gone on to become his biggest box office opening in North America.
Singham Again is directed by Rohit Shetty and also features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Salman Khan, in a cameo.
