It’s the day in Maharashtra and like responsible citizens, many celebs have flocked to the voting booths to caste their votes. Akshay Kumar was the first one to arrive early in the morning as he also showed off his inked finger after casting his vote.
After voting, Akshay spoke to the media and urged everyone to go and cast their votes. He also praised the Elections Commission of India (ECI) for their arrangements. He said, “The best thing is that the arrangements are very good. I can see that arrangements for senior citizens are very good and cleanliness has been maintained. Everyone should come and vote because that is the most important thing.”
The ‘Khiladi’ actor was later seen having a conversation with a senior citizen and the video went viral. Fans absolutely loved his humility. Meanwhile, many other celebs also arrived to cast their vote.
Salim Khan and Sushila Charak (Salma Khan) arrived and served inspiration for many to come and cast their votes if they can do so at this age.
Kartik Aaryan who’s currently enjoying the success of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ also arrived to vote and showed his inked finger.
Sachin Tendulkar was seen with his wife Anjali and daughter Sara.
Baba Siddque’s son arrived to vote with tight security post his father’s demise.
Suniel Shetty was also spotted at the booth. Meanwhile, other celebs like John Abraham, Rajkummar Rao and many others also have voted.
