Today, Alia shared an exciting photo on Instagram featuring Diljit. The picture, taken on the set of ‘Jigra’, shows them sitting together with the singer smiling at the actress, who is looking up at the movie title.
Diljit’s chair says, “Sings About Kudi,” while Alia’s chair reads, “The Said ‘Kudi’.” The caption on Bhatt’s Instagram post confirmed their collaboration with the saying, “Chairs say it all.”.
Alia and Diljit Dosanjh were last seen in the 2016 film ‘Udta Punjab‘, directed by Abhishek Chaubey. They also performed the reprised version of ‘Ikk Kudi’, which was widely loved by audiences. The reunion, nearly eight years after ‘Udta Punjab’, has generated significant excitement among fans.
A few days ago, the maker dropped the teaser trailer for the upcoming film ‘Jigra’. Directed by Vasan Bala, the movie features Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina in the lead roles. The film, produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Alia Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions, is slated for a theatrical release on October 11, 2024.
Apart from ‘Jigra’, Alia is also busy shooting for the upcoming YRF spy-universe film, ‘Alpha’, where she will be seen alongside Sharvari Wagh.
