Alia Bhatt talks about her linkups

Despite not being particularly proud of her performance in ‘Student of the Year’, Alia Bhatt believes that the film’s songs would resonate well with her daughter, Raha, given their playful and energetic nature. When asked which of Ranbir Kapoor’s films she would choose for their daughter, Alia mentioned ‘Barfi’. ‘I think she would enjoy that with Ranbir, maybe ‘Barfi’ — it’s a very child-friendly film,’ she said.Additionally, Alia Bhatt was asked about her career and the performances that had the biggest impact on her. Reflecting on this, the ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ actress mentioned that the film ‘Highway‘ brought about a significant change in her personality. She explained that the experience of being on the road and away from home for an extended period while filming the movie contributed to this shift. ‘Highway’ was the first project that left a deep mark on her, both professionally and personally.
She also reflected on other pivotal roles in her career alongside ‘Highway’. She mentioned that portraying her character in ‘Udta Punjab’ made her uncomfortable, as she had to mentally and physically shut down from the world to fully immerse herself in the role. The intensity of the performance required a deep emotional investment. Alia also highlighted ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ as another transformative project, largely due to working with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She revealed that completing the film left her feeling like a different person, marking yet another significant shift in her career.
On the work front, Alia is gearing up for the release of ‘Alpha’ and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’.
