Raha, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor’s little bundle of joy is the center of the couple’s universe. Right from the time when she was growing up in her mother’s womb, the tiny tot brought immense happiness to her parents.
Though Alia and Ranbir both have spoken candidly about their child and their journey of parenthood on multiple occasions, the recent revelations are simply too good to miss.Alia Bhatt, recently during a conversation with Allure Magzine, spoke about the time when she felt the first kick of Raha in her womb.
It happened when the actress was in Portugal for the shoot of her movie ‘Heart of Stone.’ Alia was in bed when she felt a flutter in her stomach; confused about what it was, she waited for the feeling to happen once again. However, she admitted that the baby kicks when you least expect it.
Alia then called her husband Ranbir Kapoor, who was back in Mumbai, sleeping peacefully. Recalling the moment, she mentioned “I got really excited, and I called my husband up immediately, and he was asleep. He answered in his sleep, and he was like, ‘What happened?’ I was like, ‘No, no, just you know, baby kicked.’ And he was like, ‘Okay, that’s great.’”
After Raha was born, with delight came a little fun banter in the Kapoor and Bhatt family. Everyone was eager to hear her first words and wondered whether Raha would say mumma or papa first. According to Alia, Raha said “mumma” first and she has it on video for the record. It happened when Raha and Alia were enjoying their mother-daughter playtime. She narrated, “But then she fully said it, like mumma. Of course, we take great joy and pride in that moment. I have it on video, so if anybody needs proof, she said mumma first.”
Talking of Raha’s words, recently, a video of her chatting in her baby voice with her grandmother Neetu Kapoor has gone viral. From her expressions to her baby voice, everything about Raha and Neetu Kapoor’s interaction was all things adorable. No wonder the tiny tot has already become an internet sensation.
