Alia Bhatt recently announced her role in the first female-led film, ‘Alpha,’ within the YRF spy universe, on her Instagram. Co-starring Sharvari, known for her role in ‘Munjya,’ the highly anticipated film began shooting earlier this month.
According to a report in Hindustan Times, Alia began filming for ‘Alpha’ on July 5. The film showcases her in a completely new role as a super agent, requiring her to undergo rigorous training over four months.With five to six intense action sequences, Alia has pushed herself to peak fitness to embody the character’s ruthless persona on screen.

Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram to share the announcement video of her upcoming film “Alpha.” In the video, she introduces the theme with the phrase, “Greek alphabet ka sabse pehla akshar. Aur humare programme ka motto.. sabse pehle, sabse tezz, sabs veer. Dhyaan se dekho toh har sheher mein ek jungle hai. Aur jungle mein hamesha Raj karega..ALPHA!” The video ends with the text “filming now” on screen. Her caption, “It’s the time of the ALPHA… Girls!” celebrates the beginning of shooting and includes a tag for Sharvari.

Bobby Deol is rumored to join the cast of the Shiv Rawail-directed film as the antagonist opposite the female leads. This project marks the seventh installment in Yash Raj Films‘ spy universe.
