Over the past few years, Telugu Cinema has truly transcended regional boundaries and come forth as one of the leading movie business, thanks to blockbusters like Baahubali series, Kalki 2898 AD, Salaar-Part 1- Ceasefire and RRR. And now, all eyes are set on Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s Pushpa 2 – The Rule to dominate its position across the globe, especially in the United States of America.

Pushpa 2 is all set to release on 5th December, and with more than 29 days to go for the release of the film, its advance booking in the USA has already generated a lot of buzz. Till Tuesday morning for its premiere day shows, the film had sold tickets with US $ 315,311, and by Wednesday morning the numbers had jumped to US $ 423,367, a spike of US $ 108,056 in just 24 hours. The advance booking is currently opened in just 726 locations, and has sold over 15000 tickets. And going by the buzz of the film, it is touted to get the widest release for an Indian film on US soil, even to the extent that theaters which wouldn’t play Indian films are being roped in for this one.
While advance booking in India will open closer to the release, it is expected to do a good business, as distributor Anil Thadani has paid almost Rs 200 crore for its North India distribution rights. Pushpa- The Rise has made Rs 106 crore from its Hindi version, while its India collection stood at Rs 267 crore.
Pushpa 2 also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil , Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj. The film will be clashing with Vicky Kaushal, Laxman Utekar and Dinesh Vijan’s Chhaava on 6th December.
