In the video shared on social media platforms, Amitabh expressed his immense gratitude for being part of such a significant project.Playing the character Ashwatthama, he shared his appreciation for the film’s team and co-stars, highlighting the honour of working alongside industry giants like Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone.
He also added, “For Prabhas, this may be something of a routine because a lot of his films cross this Rs 1000 crore figure. But for me, I am truly indebted and very grateful to have been made a part of this huge concept called Kalki… I have already seen the film four times… and each time, I have discovered something new, something that I may have missed when I saw it the first time.”
Amitabh praised the audience’s support and love, which helped ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ achieve its remarkable box office performance.
‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is set in a post-apocalyptic world and draws inspiration from Hindu scriptures, presenting a futuristic vision of the year 2898 AD. Alongside the main stars, the movie also features Disha Patani, with cameo appearances by Mrunal Thakur, Vijay Deverakonda, and Dulquer Salmaan. The saga continues as the sequel of the film is also in the works.
