Anees Bazmee recently spoke about how much he admires Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn, Salman Khan, and Akshay Kumar. Famous for his comic films, Bazmee revealed that each of the actors is special in some way for his career and life.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Bazmee described Ajay Devgn as “very special,” crediting him for supporting him early in his career. When Bazmee’s directorial debut didn’t perform well, Ajay Devgn still remained committed, trusting Bazmee’s vision enough to collaborate on more projects. “Whenever I approach him with a script, he’ll say, ‘When do we start?'”, Anees Bazmee said, emphasizing Devgn’s unwavering support and talent.
Bazmee thanked Salman Khan for his role in No Entry, which he believes wouldn’t have worked for him if it hadn’t been for the star. He observed, “He cares for others beyond personal gain” about the nature of Khans being genuine and good-hearted. Their films have been with Ready; that has left long-lasting memories for the director as well, who is great about his commitment to bonding with meaningful relationships in his industry.
Akshay Kumar, who starred in five Bazmee films, including the iconic Welcome, is celebrated not only for his memorable roles but also for his strict discipline. Bazmee recalled a humorous incident where Akshay Kumar’s early morning work schedule had him up at 6 a.m., demonstrating his influence on those around him. Additionally, Anees Bazmee spoke of Akshay Kumar’s playful side, describing him as a “prankster” who brings fun to any set.
