According to ANI report, the trailer launch event will be graced by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who is the son of Salim Khan, alongside acclaimed filmmakers Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar, the children of Javed Akhtar.The presence of these industry heavyweights underscores the significance of the docuseries, which not only celebrates the creative genius of Salim-Javed but also explores the profound impact their work has had on Indian cinema.

‘Angry Young Men’ marks the directorial debut of Namrata Rao, who has brought to life the personal narrations of Salim-Javed and insights from other notable figures in Indian cinema.

The title of the docuseries, ‘Angry Young Men’, references the archetype of the ‘angry young man’ hero that Salim-Javed famously created, a character type that became synonymous with the gritty, rebellious protagonists of their films. Despite their immense success, the duo decided to part ways in 1982 after collaborating on 22 Bollywood films and two Kannada films.
