Over the past decade, Aditya Chopra has set the box office on fire with his spyverse, including actors like Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, and Alia Bhatt, delivering hits like the Tiger franchise, War and Pathaan. The next few films in the offing are War 2, Alpha & Pathaan 2.

Now, sources say that Anil Kapoor is all set to join the spyverse! According to a Pinkvilla report, Kapoor will portray the head of R&AW (Research and Operations Wing) within the Spy Universe.

“Anil Kapoor was deeply impressed by Aditya Chopra’s vision for the Spy Universe and quickly agreed to join the project. His journey begins with an appearance in ‘War 2’, alongside Hrithik Roshan, NTR Jr, and Kiara Advani in pivotal roles. Following this, he will feature in ‘Alpha’, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, before culminating in the Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer, ‘Pathaan 2’,” the source disclosed.
On the other hand, earlier today, ETimes exclusively reported that superstar Hrithik Roshan has kickstarted the second schedule of YRF’s Spy Universe War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji. He will be reprising his role as Major Kabir Dhaliwal in the second installment of the War franchise.
Trade sources reveal that the second schedule of the highly anticipated film that also stars NTR Jr., will be extremely high on action.

“Hrithik Roshan begins War 2 schedule today, and it will be non stop action sequences for him, and NTR Jr, as he joins Hrithik soon. The two actors have pushed themselves to deliver jaw-dropping action sequences in the first schedule. The second schedule will see them push their bodies more,” adds the source.

“Hrithik is starting War 2 second schedule as NTR Jr. finishes his prior commitments. Hrithik will be shooting one big action sequence at the start of this schedule. It is being heard that the action sequences will take about a week to be filmed, given the lavishness and impact that Ayan Mukerji wants to achieve with this. Hrithik and NTR are both going to have whistle-blowing entries in WAR 2, and the action being designed around them will be never seen before,” the source further added.
War 2 is produced by Aditya Chopra and is the sixth film in the YRF Spy Universe after Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, Tiger 3, War and Pathaan.
