Anil Kapoor penned a lengthy emotional note to extend birthday wishes to Madhuri Dixit.
Madhuri Dixit remains an evergreen star. Ever since her debut in 1984, she has been setting benchmarks with her captivating acting talent, mesmerising looks and impeccable dance. Among her all on-screen pairings, it was her chemistry with Anil Kapoor that won several hearts. Their off-screen camaraderie was equally noteworthy and they have been friends for years now. On May 15, Madhuri celebrates her 57th birthday. To commemorate his co-star and friend on her special day, Anil Kapoor shared the most heartwarming post on his Instagram handle.
In his post, the JugJugg Jeeyo star attached some hidden gems from his archives to a lengthy emotional note. The throwback pictures featured the popular on-screen couple receiving an award ad posing for the cameras. In one of the pictures, the duo flashed a bright smile while striking a pose for the adorable frame.
Anil Kapoor’s note for his ‘favourite buddy’ read, “To say that you are one of my co-stars would be accurate but not nearly enough. You are most importantly, one of my favorite buddies. Ours is a friendship that transcends all screens and I’m lucky to have your radiant presence in my life! May you always have the reasons to smile so that the rest of us can bask in its glory. Happy Birthday Madhuri Dixit Nene.”
Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit appeared in dozens of films together throughout their career. The couple contributed to creating a magical era with their films like Ram Lakhan, Lajja, Total Dhamaal, Pukar, Parinda, Khel and Beta among others.
Besides Anil Kapoor, Madhuri also received a special wish from her husband Dr Shriram Nene. He posted a clip featuring him alongside the Bollywood star and expressed his love for his beautiful wife in a cute note. The write-up read, “Happy birthday to the woman who dances through life with grace, charm, and a killer smile! You light up our lives in ways words can’t express. We love you endlessly!”
Madhuri Dixit is currently seen as a judge on the Colors’ reality show Dance Deewane 4 alongside Suniel Shetty.
