Prabhas starrer magnum opus ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is only six days away from its theatrical release, and the makers have now dropped the much-anticipated character poster of Anna Ben. The character poster features Anna Ben as Kyra, riding a futuristic bike. The makers also hinted that Anna Ben might be playing a positive shade of character, and representing a beacon of hope for the future.
On Thursday, June 20, the team launched Anna Ben’s character poster via social media and captioned it, “No amount of darkness can resist a smile.”

Directed by Nag Ashwin, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is set in a dystopian future where the residents of Kashi struggle for basic resources. Starring Prabhas, the film has an ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and, Disha Patani. The film is set on a massive scale.
On the technical front, the cinematography is done by Djordje Stojiljkovic. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor. The music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan. Nitin Zihani Choudhary is the production designer. Anil Jadhav, Santosh Shetty, Velu, and Rembon are in charge of the art department. Praveen Kilaru is the VFX creative producer. King Solomon, Andy Long, Peter Heins, Satish, Anbariv, and Nick Powell are in charge of the stunts. The costumes are designed by Archana Rao.
Meanwhile, the team hosted a grand pre-release event on Wednesday, June 19, in Mumbai. The event was attended by the cast of the film including Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan. Rana Daggubati was also present at the event.
‘Kalki 2898 AD’ will hit the cinemas worldwide on June 27.
