Punjabi singer AP Dhillon was left in shock when almost a month ago his house in Canada was attacked. Gunshots were heard outside his home and two vehicles around this place were put on fire. According to the latest updates, in the respective matter, the Canadian police have arrested a 25-year-old man from Ontario, while other suspects remain at large. This update has come through an official statement made by the authorities.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police says the suspect is identified as Abjeet Kingra of Winnipeg. He has been accused of discharging a “firearm with intent” and arson. He will appear in court on Friday.
“On October 30, 2024, a man was arrested and later charged in connection with recklessly discharging a firearm into a residence, as well as setting fire to two vehicles in the 3300 block of Ravenwood Road, Colwood, in September. The crime occurred on September 20, 2024,” read an official statement from the Canadian police.
Meanwhile, an arrest warrant has been issued for another suspect, identified as Vikram Sharma. He is a 23-year-old South Asian male, last known to reside in Winnipeg. The police suspect he has fled to India. Further, though the cops don’t have an exact image of Vikram, they have a few specific details that can help to identify the accused.
For the unversed, the shooting around AP Dhillon’s house happened just weeks after he released the video of his much-awaited song ‘Old Money,’ which featured Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. The infamous gangs of Lawrence Bishnoi and Rohit Godara took responsibility for the shooting, citing the singer’s close ties with Khan.
