Arjun Kapoor congratulated his uncle Anil Kapoor and called him “King of New”.
Bigg Boss OTT is back with the third season. The show is reportedly set to premiere on JioCinema this June. The makers of the show have already released the first promo, showcasing Anil Kapoor as the new host. And now, Arjun Kapoor congratulated his uncle with a heartfelt note on Instagram. Reposting the Bigg Boss OTT 3 promo on his Instagram story, Arjun wrote, “King of New!!! He’s always doing something different to keep all his youthful peers on their feet!!”
Anil Kapoor’s daughter and actress Sonam Kapoor also reposted the promo with a text that read, “They’ve got the most talented, hardworking, and handsome man onboard!”
The promo begins with a man walking in style while clips from the previous season play in the background. Suddenly, the camera pans to reveal Anil Kapoor, who whistles and calls for the chair. An audio clip in the background says, “Sir Jhakaas,” to which Anil responds, “Bohat ho gaya re jhakaas, karte hain na kuch aur khaas.” The clip concludes by announcing that the show will start streaming in June, although the exact date and time are yet to be revealed.
The first season of Bigg Boss OTT was hosted by Karan Johar, while Salman Khan took on the hosting duties for the second season. Now, the makers have selected Anil Kapoor as the host for the third season.
Several celebrities are rumoured to have been approached for the upcoming season of Bigg Boss OTT. According to a report by Pinkvilla, Rohit Kumar Chaudhary, known for his appearances in reality shows like Dil Hai Hindustani and MTV Hustle, might participate in the controversial show. Additionally, YouTubers Khushi Punjaban and Vivek Choudhary, as well as Nikhil Mehta and Cheshta Bhagat from Temptation Island, are also speculated to be potential participants in the third season.
