The excitement over Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again‘ mounts with every new information on the movie. Headlining the much-awaited film installment within Shetty’s cop universe is Ajay Devgn, who will share the primary antagonist with Arjun Kapoor, to be modeled out of the fearsome Raavan of the Ramayana mythology.
As per a report in the Midday, Arjun Kapoor will soon be playing a militant leader in the movie, which has somewhat of a similarity to the legend Raavan.According to the report, the plot of the movie will have ‘Singham,’ played by Ajay Devgn, and his team of cops flying off to Sri Lanka to encounter the villain, who will be played by Kapoor. This is a much more mythological storyline than the Ramayana, where Lord Rama goes to Lanka to fight Raavan, so this cinematic narration will have a very culturally relevant meaning.
The Rohit Shetty Singham saga has developed into a narration that has a central focus on the etching of good and bad as subjects. With ‘Singham Again’, Rohit Shetty is going to elevate it with a mix of mythological references. As brought out in the report, the filmmaker wanted to inject the epic story of Ramayana into his film-again, ensuring that tradition and modern cinema converge for a wider audience.
The visual effects work of the film is yet to be under way, however, things like assets and marketing materials would probably be starting soon as an advance for the Diwali release. With an interesting story line and a brilliant cast, ‘Singham Again’ has high hopes among the audiences.
