Amid the flurry of reactions, the situation took a controversial turn when astrologer Venu Swamy made headlines with a bold prediction about the future of Chaitanya and Sobhita’s relationship.Swamy, known for his controversial statements, released a video on Instagram claiming that the couple’s relationship would end in 2027 due to the involvement of another woman. This prediction sparked outrage among fans and the public, leading to widespread criticism of Swamy for making such an insensitive and speculative statement.

According to reports from 123 Telugu, the Telugu Film Journalist Association (TFJA) took serious offence to Swamy’s remarks and filed a police complaint against him. The association condemned his video, calling it inappropriate and harmful, especially given the delicate nature of the situation.
In response to the backlash, Venu Swamy attempted to clarify his position in a follow-up video. He explained that his prediction about Chaitanya and Sobhita was merely an extension of his earlier prediction about Chaitanya’s relationship with his ex-wife, Samantha. Swamy further stated that he had promised to refrain from making any more predictions about the futures of film stars and politicians, a vow he claimed he would uphold. He mentioned that MAA President Manchu Vishnu had spoken to him about the issue, and he assured him that he would no longer make predictions concerning celebrities.
