Neeraj Pandey‘s Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, featuring Tabu and Ajay Devgn, has faced a poor box office debut in India.
Early estimates suggest that Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha earned between Rs 1.30 crore and Rs 1.50 crore on its opening day. This makes it one of the lowest openings ever for a major film star, marking Ajay Devgn’s weakest debut in the past 19 years.

The film’s opening is even lower than Akshay Kumar’s Sarfira, Mission Raniganj, and Selfiee.

It has fallen short of the conservative expectations set by the trade for this romantic drama. Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is a love story featuring Ajay Devgn and Tabu, with Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar portraying their younger selves. The film’s music is composed by Oscar winner MM Keeravani.

Ajay Devgn’s next project is ‘Singham Again,’ directed by Rohit Shetty, featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor, with cameos by Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Tiger Shroff. Tabu will also be seen as Sister Francesca in ‘Dune: Prophecy.’
