Ajay Devgn and Tabu are back on-screen after some really successful outings together. They shared screen space last in ‘Drishyam 2’ and ‘Bholaa’ but this time around, return together with a musical love story. The audience hasn’t seen them doing something like this for a while now. The film was initially supposed to release on July 5 but was postponed.As it hits the screens today, on August 2, the buzz is quite dull. The advance bookings also look dull, but the film will largely depend on positive word of mouth, in order to bring in decent weekend numbers.
At the moment, according to the advance bookings, it looks like the film will have a slow start at the box office and can be expected to make Rs 2-3 crore on Day 1, as per Sacnilk. However, there’s anticipation among people to see Ajay and Tabu together and it may work as a USP for the current bookings which will play a huge role. Further more, if the film is genuinely good, and the word of mouth spreads, the weekend numbers can be better.

Nevertheless, this one directed by Neeraj Pandey, is not a very high budget movie, hence may not need those humungous numbers to be successful. However, one does hope that the film lives up to expectations and grows in its business over the weekend through positive word of mouth.
