In an interview with IANS, Triptii Dimri opened up about the difficulties she faced while working on ‘Bad Newz’, a comedy film that also stars Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk.“Comedy is a very difficult genre for me,” Dimri confessed. “I have always done a lot of films in the drama genre, but I feel that as an actor, it is really important to keep doing different things and keep challenging yourself. I have found comedy a little difficult since the beginning.”

Dimri, who has built a reputation for her compelling dramatic roles, found stepping into comedy to be a significant departure from her comfort zone. Despite the challenges, she viewed the experience positively. “It was difficult, but overall, it was a good learning experience,” she said. Dimri expressed her gratitude towards the film’s director, Anand Tiwari, for trusting her with the role. “No one has seen me do comedy at this level before,” she added. “It was especially challenging working alongside Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk, as they are very talented and their comic timing is very good.”
Triptii also emphasized the importance of versatility in her profession. She said that as an actor, it is very essential to keep doing different things and keep challenging one’s skills. The actress also expressed her desire to continue exploring a variety of roles across different genres, including action, drama, and comedy.
Following the release of ‘Bad Newz’, Triptii Dimri has a packed schedule with several high-profile projects. She is set to star in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ alongside Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan.
