Ishaan told us, “Naseer taya has been someone I love and adore greatly… I feel my father’s presence when I interact with him… We may not speak everyday but everytime we do meet, I am reminded of my father…
If there is anyone I look up to apart from my father, it is Naseer taya. He was my father’s bestfriend and like a brother to him. In fact, both maintained that they were closer to each other than their own brothers.”

Adding more, he said, “Recently I’ve had the good fortune of doing a workshop with Naseer taya at Roshan Taneja School of Acting (RTSA), where I was doing my acting diploma. I am thankful to Rohit Sir (Rohit Taneja, son of Roshan Taneja) our teacher and mentor, for facilitating this priceless opportunity for us, it has been a lesson of a lifetime for many of us budding actors. The lessons that I’ve learnt that day and the interaction we had with Naseer taya will be forever etched in my memory.”
Revealing an anecdote, Ishaan said, “There were the countless moments in my childhood when I used to ask him endless questions about various things which he would patiently answer and explain to me, because my father didn’t have the patience to answer my boring question. ‘Yeh tum apne Naseer taya se pooch!,’ he would say. Happy Birthday Naseer taya, and lots of love always.”
