There’s just no stopping the Kartik Aaryan starrer ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ at the box office. The horror-comedy saw a good upward trend at the ticket windows on Saturday, pushing its overall total closer to the Rs 200 crore mark.
The film that ended its first week at the box office on a high, with a collection of Rs 158.25 crore, saw its collections rise over its second weekend at the box office. Although the film earned just around Rs 9.25 crore on its second Friday, it saw a huge spike in numbers on Saturday.
According to Sacnilk.com, the movie earned an estimated Rs 15.50 crore, according to early estimates. This helped push its overall total to an estimated Rs 183 crore.The film is now just Rs 2 crore shy of becoming Kartik Aaryan’s highest-grossing film at the box office. ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ held the record for the actor’s highest-earning film to date.
It remains to be seen if the film has what it takes to hit the Rs 200 crore mark on its second weekend. Should it manage to do so, it would add a page to the history books by scoring a double 100 crore weekend, along with ‘Singham Again‘.
Directed by Anees Bazmee and featuring a star-studded cast including Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, and Rajpal Yadav, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ has been receiving mixed reviews from audiences. However, the film still managed to keep the momentum going and is now chasing ‘Singham Again’s Rs 193 crore total collection.
