Bigg Boss 18 has been grabbing the attention of viewers with its intense drama and personal revelations of the contestants since its debut earlier this month. To take the drama a notch higher, Bigg Boss often introduces twists and turns in the show. The latest contestants to make it to the headlines due to such twists were Arfeen Khan and his wife, Sara Arfeen Khan.

In the recent episode of the show, Bigg Boss played an audio in which Arfeen was heard saying that his wife shouldn’t be in the show as she is a ‘soft person’. This revelation left the actress in utter shock, and eventually, the couple got into an argument. Later, Bigg Boss called Karan Veer Mehra into the confession room, they discussed that the mind coach was deliberately digging out old graves, telling stories of his struggle.

When the Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 winner got out of the confession, he gathered everyone around for a conversation. During this, Arfeen mentioned that his wife had gone through a lot ever since her father passed away. He revealed that his father-in-law died by suicide, due to which Sara had undergone a lot of emotional turmoil. Recalling the day when Sara’s father allegedly hanged himself, Arfeen shared that he witnessed the scene and advised his wife not to go upstairs.

“Agar woh dekh leti toh shayad marr jati. Wo apne papa se bohot close thi (If she had seen him like that, she would have died that day. She was very close to her father),” said the mind coach. The revelation left Sara Khan teary-eyed. Meanwhile, Alice Kaushik was also seen breaking down as her father, too, had died by suicide.

Karan Veer questioned Arfeen’s motive behind sharing such stories, making a suggestion that he was doing so to gain sympathy. However, the latter’s caring nature for his wife was evident as he tried to protect her. Sara emphasised that it is a societal norm for women to take a backseat and let their husbands take the lead.

In an earlier episode, Arfeen Khan got into an argument with Avinash Mishra. Both the contestants lost their cool and exchanged harsh remarks. It all started when the Titli actor was nominated to go inside the Bigg Boss jail. Their argument got so out of hand that Avinash remarked that Arfeen needed mind coaching. The latter had enough and slammed the actor for pointing fingers at his profession.
