Bigg Boss 18 has been keeping viewers on their toes ever since the popular yet controversial reality show premiered on October 6. Hosted by Salman Khan, the theme of Bigg Boss this year is Time Ka Tandav (Dance of Time). Earlier this week seven contestants including Rajat Dalal, Karan Veer Singh, Kashish Kapoor, Digvijay Rathee, Tajinder Singh Bagga, Shrutika Arjun and Chum Darang were nominated for eviction. However, in the latest promo video shared by the makers on Instagram, Bigg Boss decided to add a twist to the game. Rajat Dalal was given the power to save himself and another person from nomination out of the remaining six participants.
The video begins with the voice in the background saying, “Ek khel khelte hai, waqt ka khel. Waqt ko thoda rewind karte hai. Rajat, chalte hai wapas nomination pe. (Let’s play a game, a game of time. Rajat, let’s go back to the nomination).” Paper cutouts featuring the faces of the nominated contestants were pasted on a board. Rajat Dalal was asked to punch those faces whom he wished to keep in the nomination. Bigg Boss also asked the fitness trainer and social media influencer to share the reason why he does not want them to be in the safe zone.
The first person nominated by Rajat Dalal was Karan Veer Singh. Explaining the reason Rajat said, “Main chahta hu karan bhai nominated rahe kuynki maine ab tak koi bhi kaam inhe karte dekha nahi hai (I want Karan to stay nominated because till now I have not seen him do any work).”
The next person Rajat Dalal nominated was Kashish Kapoor. According to him, Kashish always sided with co-contestant Shilpa Shirodkar. But when there was a task she switched sides to Rajat. “Mujhe lagta hai ki woh jinke saath hi baithti hai unke saath dagabaazi kar sakti hai. Toh time aane pe woh meri aapni toh nahi ho sakti hai. (I think that she can betray even those people with whom she sits. So when the time comes, she can never show loyalty to me),” said Rajat.
The contestants who are safe from nomination are Vivian Dsena, Shilpa Shirodkar, Avinash Mishra, Alice Kaushik, Sara Arfeen Khan and Eisha Singh. Bigg Boss 18 airs on Colors TV and is available for streaming on JioCinema.
