Salman Khan announced the Time Ka Tandav theme for the upcoming season of Bigg Boss 18 on Instagram.
The wait is finally over. Actor Salman Khan is returning to our TV screens, taking charge as host of the biggest reality show in India – Bigg Boss. On Friday, the makers of the series unveiled the promo of the much awaited 18th season of the controversial show on Instagram. Salman Khan also shared the Bigg Boss 18 promo on the photo-sharing application, announcing Time Ka Tandav as the theme for the upcoming season. In the clip, the actor is heard saying, “Bigg Boss dekhenge gharwaloon ka future. Ab hoga time ka tandav (Bigg Boss will see the future of the housemates. Now, time will play an important part for contestants).” A lot of computer-generated graphics (CGI) added to the intrigue. The post was captioned, “Watch Bigg Boss starting 6th Oct at 9pm at ColorsTV.”
Earlier, the makers had shared three promos, sharing glimpses of three different contestants. One of the clips teased fans with the silhouette of an actress, with a voiceover in the background narrating that she has worked with the biggest heroes in the 90s. Fans were quick to guess that it was Shilpa Shirodkar and she will be a contestant on the show. Popular actress Anita Hassanandani also commented on the post. Tagging Shilpa, she wrote, “Yaaaaaay! I’m already glued to the tv, Kill it (sic).”
ICYDW, Shilpa Shirodkar is popular for her role in films such as Gopi Kishan, Kishen Kanhaiya, Hum and Khuda Gawah among others. The actor also began her TV stint with the show Ek Mutthi Aasmaan in 2013. Besides, she is also the elder sister of Namrata Shirodkar. Namrata is married to Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu.
The remaining two promos unveiled hints of the celebrity contestants Shehzada Dhami and Chahat Pandey. FYI, Shehzada Dhami is a television actor, who was recently ousted from the Star Plus Show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Chaahat Pandey, on the other hand, rose to fame with her roles in Nath – Krishna Aur Gauri Ki Kahani, RadhaKrishn, Tenali Rama, Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga, Hamari Bahu Silk and Dwarkadheesh Bhagwan Shree Krishn – Sarvkala Sampann.
Ahead of Bigg Boss 18 premiere on October 6, makers are expected to drop more promos. Celebrities like Nyra Banerjee, Shoaib Ibrahim, Padmini Kolhapure and Karan Veer Mehra are expected to enter the house.
