This weekend proved especially difficult for Shilpa Shirodkar, as she was brought to tears by a comment made by fellow contestant Shrutika Arjun.

The weekend episodes of Bigg Boss 18 often provide contestants with valuable insights into their performance and interactions within the house, but this weekend proved to be particularly emotional for Shilpa Shirodkar. During a task where housemates had to read comments made about them by others and guess who wrote them, Shilpa was brought to tears after reading a remark that criticized her behaviour and even referenced her daughter. The comment, made by fellow contestant Shrutika Arjun, left Shilpa deeply saddened.
As per the task guidelines, Shilpa had to read out a comment about her, which stated, “Wo apni kya age behave kar rahi hai. Tune kitni baar bola tha you don’t want to be linked up over here kyunki wo tere liye ek bad name hoga. Ye baar baar bolegi Karan ke liye say yes. Agar unki beti hogi toh wo ye kahegi kya? (How will she behave her age? You have said so many times that you don’t want to be linked up over here because it will be a bad name for you. But she says continuously to say yes to Karan. If her daughter would be here what would she say to her) This is what I don’t like double standards. Maa jaisa pyar dikhati hai magar but footage ke liye how can anyone do that? (She tried to show motherly affection but does this for footage).”
After reading this, Shilpa correctly guessed that the comment came from Shrutika Arjun. When Shrutika explained her point of view, Shipa was quite disappointed and said, “I am hurt with her. In this show, don’t bring up family. You are taking my daughter’s name. She is 20 years old, I don’t want to be in this show. Gande soch wale log. (You have a dirty mind).” Later, Shilpa broke down while talking to Chum Darang. She stated, “Dirty minds, I can’t stay.” Chum encouraged her to stand by her opinion, but Shilpa expressed that she can;t talk like them. Shilpa also confessed to Vivian Dsena her growing dissatisfaction with the atmosphere in the house, particularly like Shrutika, who she believes has crossed a line by involving her family.
